JESUS TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD
God has sent His Son into the world to take away the sin of the world. I think
most of us would agree with that statement. John the Baptist made this
declaration “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
(John 1:29)
Not only for our sins but the sins of the whole world (cosmos) (1 John 2:2). It
is not that we love Him, rather it is because He loved us and does love us to
this day.
It is important that we realize that God’s plan of salvation is larger than our
natural minds can comprehend. Let us look at some scripture, which begins to
unfold His marvelous plan for mankind. Act 15:14 Simeon hath declared how God at
the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And
to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will
return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and
I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of
men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is
called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
God is raising up a company of people in this day. The Bible calls them God’s
elect. Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant
according to the election of grace. Then we drop down to verse 26 and we read
Rom 11:26 And so ALL Israel shall be saved:
This company of people that God is bringing forth are His first fruit company.
They are coming forth out of traditional mindsets and are going to appear in the
image and likeness of Father. These folks represents Christ to the world. Look
at what Paul says concerning these things. Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the
sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory
which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made
subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the
same] in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
These Sons will have been conformed in the image and likeness; we will have His
mind and His heart in perfect agreement with our Father. There will be no more
mystery of His will. He shall reveal His purpose to those of the election of
grace. God’s elect in this day are a very special people which God is raising up
for His purpose and objective. These are those who have dreamed the dream of
Joseph (Gen chapter 37) In this dream Joseph saw his brethren and even his
father and mother bowing to him. In verse 7 “behold, we were binding sheaves in
the field, and lo, my sheaf arose and stood upright; and behold, your sheaves
gathered round it, and bowed down to my sheaf." (RSV)
These elect of God are functioning according to the Christ in them. It is no
more “I” that lives but Christ in me who is my true identity. When Christ takes
His central position in our life, it reduces us. We will decrease that He alone
will increase. Our natural is swallowed up by His life. God’s elect have had
this same dream. It is a dream of great responsibility and humility in the
service of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Read Psalms 139 and see how special a people we are to our heavenly Father.
“People in the Babylonian church system today believe that God had no
prearranged plan. Many believe that God started with a plan then somehow maybe
while He was busy doing other things the serpent slipped in and foiled His plan
and brought it to ruin. Because of this universal tragedy, humankind has been
overwhelmed. God had to send His Son to repair the mess and in the end, truth
will triumph. God has done all He can do with His limitations to save humankind.
However, for some reason He just does not have the power to save all even though
He wants to. So He consigns the mass majority (sinful rebellious people) who
have no hope to eternal damnation while the thin minority of righteous folks fly
off to the clouds and there they shall ever be with the Lord.” This is how
Christians tend to think.
What about the sovereignty and love of God I ask you today? Is there something I
have missed in all of this? I would say most people have missed the work of God
and have relied upon the teachings of man. People have fallen short because they
have been listening to the thousands of voices throughout the world proclaiming
this doctrine and preaching that doctrine and it doesn’t seem that anyone can
agree on anything.
As Paganism infiltrates the church daily it has watered down what the Bible says
and what the Spirit says unto the churches. They have taken control in a
democratic way for the good of the church and have eliminated theocracy from the
congregation. Man seldom hears directly from the Father. Most of what church
folks are getting are second, third and forth generation teachings. I want to
know what God is saying to this generation in this age.
The Bible mentions a mystery. We all know what a mystery is. A mystery is
something unknown or something secret yet to be revealed. The mystery being
revealed to us today that was not made known to pass generations is the mystery
concerning the salvation plan and will of God to save. Are you wondering what
this mystery might be? It is recorded in Ephesians. Eph 1:9 Having made known
unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath
purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might
gather together in one ALL THINGS in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which
are on earth; [even] in him:
Ephesians 3:5 tells us that this was not made known to past ages but “is now
revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;” Now let us jump
down to Eph 3:9 And to make ALL [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created
all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and
powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of
God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our
Lord:
The eternal purpose of God is the revelation of Jesus Christ in the hearts of
ALL men.
There are many mis-translation throughout the Bible that the church continues to
preach furiously out of the fiery pulpits today. If you will indulge me for a
moment, I will mention a few for your benefit.
The words, eternal, everlasting, forever, even the word hell has been
misconstrued. 373 A.D. the word eternal and everlasting started with Jerome’s
Latin Vulgate. Jerome mistranslated those very words and the Latin Vulgate
perpetuated the error. 1200 years later, the King James translation simply
followed the Vulgate in their rendering of these two words. If one wishes their
translation to be accepted by the publishing houses then they must conform to
popular belief. The publishing houses know that the bulk of their sales will go
to denominations in large quantities.
Let me ask you, do you want a mistranslation just because everyone else believes
that way? Do you want to be reading a certain translation because it is accepted
and popular or do you want the truth of God as it was originally intended? The
Greek words aion and aonion means age lasting. Young’s literal Translation, the
Concordant Version, and the Emphatic Diaglot use the proper meanings of these
words within their text. Check out many translations at http://www.tentmaker.org/BiblesOnline/
The original Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek, by seventy scholars, and
hence called "The Septuagint," B.C. 200-300, and the Hebrew word Olam is, in
almost all cases, translated Aión, Aiónios etc., (Aíwv, Aíwvios,) so that the
two words may be regarded as synonymous with each other. In the New Testament
the same words Aión and its derivatives, are the original Greek of the English
words, Eternal, Everlasting, Forever, etc..
If you will take the time to research these key words for yourself and allow the
Lord to open your eyes to truth you will see things clearly. This clearer vision
does nothing to diminish the character of God but what this truth has done for
me is to reveal His heart to me in a way that I had never seen before.
If you wish to study this, further you will need to do your homework and brush
up on your grammar. Anyone wishing to pursue this line of thought just drop me a
note and I will forward you a couple of Web Sites which go into depth on this
subject.
Let us continue our study. We know that God will do His good pleasure. We
hopefully realize that God is in control and He has always been in control and
there is nothing that is done in this earth that He does not see or know about.
So this ideal tat somehow God lost control and the serpent took over and now God
is trying to win it back in rubbish. God never lost control of His creation!
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none
else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me, Declaring the end from the
beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying,
My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Does this sound like a weak God who lost control and had to have a rescue plan?
Would you serve a God that you knew would give up once He set His mind and will
to do something? Do you believe that God has become so disgusted with this whole
thing that He is going to gather His few saints and usher them off to Never,
Never Land while the remainder perish because He does not have the power to save
them?
God loves creation and everything that He has placed in it. This is His doing.
Man sees all of this from a natural standpoint and thus we can not see the full
extent of His love and power toward His creation.
Is God love? The Bible says He is. The picture that Christendom has painted of
my heavenly Father is grotesque, psychopathic, sadistic, and unpredictable in
nature. It is like they can’t wait for Jesus to return and slaughter the wicked
off the face of the planet. It is as if Christians can not wait for vengeance,
judgement, and damnation to rain as fire from heaven and toast every evil doer.
This attitude is far from the Jesus Christ example that God presented us in the
flesh.
God consigned man to disobedience the Bible tells us. How does God revenge? How
does God pay back? The Bible is clear on this, we overcome them by the blood of
the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Overcome evil with good!
We have ALL walked according to the course of this world, according to the
prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience: (Titus 3:3) but does that mean that God is unable to save to the
uttermost them that are lost? No it does not and He has worked His will and plan
of salvation through Jesus Christ who represented every man upon that cross.
Have we forgotten Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made
sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Doesn’t the Bible say that ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God?
Yes it does so All must mean many. Would you agree? Then Romans 5:19 says “ALL
be made righteous.”
God appoints some to their condition. If God chooses and arranges a person to be
what they are, where they are and in whatever condition they are in then won’t
God make a way of escape? The answer is YES He most assuredly will.
Paul said it best in 1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to
obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Luke mentions a similar word in Acts
17:31 “He has given assurance unto ALL men.” Why can I say this? Lets look at
more scripture. Job 12:10 In whose hand [is] the soul of every living thing, and
the breath of all mankind.
Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing,
seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
What we are talking about is life. God gives life He does not take life away. It
is not in His nature first of all and secondly life in any form must come from
God and thus is a part of God. For God to erase any life without raising it to a
higher level would be taking away from Himself. Now before you go and get angry
with me go back and read our first study “Ignoring the Word” then seek the face
of the Father for these truths. The Father doesn't stop life He gathers life
(Job 34:14) Upon writing this you must consider flesh is flesh and spirit is
spirit so do not try to confuse the two for they are different.
Father does not leave us lost. Jesus came to seek and save that which WAS lost.
If one is thirsty He will give them a drink, if one is hungry He will feed them,
if one is naked He will cloth them if one is lost He WILL find them.
No matter if, one believes it or not ALL men are searching for something. No one
wants to live a lie, be deceived by a lie, or believe a lie. Men want truth they
desire righteousness. From the moment we are born, we believe everything people
tell us. We desire righteousness and truth. We hunger for the meaning of our
existence. Matthew 5:6 gives us a promise. Christians thus far are the only ones
who claim this promise and believe it is exclusive only to them. I believe this
is for ALL men everywhere. Mat 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst
after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good
pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the
fullness of times he might gather together in ONE all things (ALL THINGS) in
Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
Eph 1:10: For an administration of the fullness of the seasons, to reunite for
himself (under one head) the all things in the Christ, the things upon the
heavens, and the things upon the earth, in him:
(Rotherham)
Col 1:16: Because, in him, were created all things in the heavens and upon the
earth, the things seen and the things unseen, whether thrones or lordships or
principalities or authorities,—they all, through him and for him, have been
created,
(Rotherham)
Let us not ignore verse 20, Col 1:20: and through him to reconcile the all
things to himself--having made peace through the blood of his cross--through
him, whether the things upon the earth, whether the things in the heavens. (YLT)
Through Christ, the Father, makes peace and reconciles ALL THINGS back into
Himself by means of the blood of the cross.
